Chinese Lantern Festival (Pictures)

Each year the Koka Booth Amphitheater in Cary, NC hosts the Chinese Lantern Festival. It’s something that my mom has wanted to attend for the last couple of years. This year we all happened to be in the the same location when the festival was going on. The main entrance is a large silk LED-lit feature that looks like Chinese Palace or Gong. Christmas 2016 – Raleigh, NJ and Asheville

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! As always, we were quite busy traveling to spend the holidays with our family. Christmas #1 This year we spent the weekend before Christmas with my family. We drove up to the Raleigh area the weekend before Christmas, so that we could enjoy the weekend with everyone. Saturday was busy making a big dinner with my mom and sister. It took most of the day to cook everything, but was totally worth it. Second Anniversary

Last week my husband and I celebrated our second anniversary. Four Days in NYC

My sister, Heather, and I spent a few days in NYC earlier this year. We had a meeting to show at Surtex next year and decided to make a few days of it so she could enjoy her first trip to New York.
